"Come what may, and love it!......Yet in spite of discouragement and adversity, those who are happiest seem to have a way of learning from difficult times, becoming stronger, wiser, and happier as a result." ~ Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

Noah's Birthday Party and the beginnings of a garden

Noah's birthday was yesterday. He's 3 and I can't believe it. We celebrated on Saturday with good friends. This is my first attempt at a collage. Hopefully they will get better as I practice.  My camera batteries died half way through the exciting part of the party (The singing and the cake...well, cupcakes) so I had some friends finish out the birthday party. For some reason I can't get the pictures to look normal when I put them on here. So more pictures to come when I figure it out. Anyway, here's Noah is the "birthday chair" for his 1st, 2nd, and now 3rd birthdays.

We also got our garden ready for next year. Heath tilled up the dirt and the boys (Reynold boys, the missionaries and Heath) put the poop on top...sorry the "fertilizer".

Deric brought his metal detector which a few people were excited about. They were trying to find a cell phone that was dropped in the poop. They found some coins that apparently Chris Nazelrod (the tall guy with the white shirt in the middle) had inconspicuously placed in different locations. It was funny that they were all digging through the poo to discover that the coins were planted there. Funny joke.
