"Come what may, and love it!......Yet in spite of discouragement and adversity, those who are happiest seem to have a way of learning from difficult times, becoming stronger, wiser, and happier as a result." ~ Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

Heath tells the boys that the world on the Mario game with all the snow is Pennsylvania. Now that's what they call it.
Feeling grateful today.
grateful for running water. not only that it runs but that it eventually gets warm.
grateful for my bread knife. Thanks Susan!
Grateful for good health. Although I'm not experiencing any right now, sure makes me grateful for when I do feel good.

and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTER MELISSA AND MY BROTHER JOSHUA.

I do still hope to get a song to you both. speaking of singing...

among the songs we sang for family home evening tonight was the theme song for teenage mutant ninja turtles old school cartoon... a new favorite! Heath is playing the guitar right now and singing Brown Eyed Girl....that'd be me (his brown eyed girl).
Also, never throw away fruit or vegetables. Freeze them if you know you are not going to use them and they are looking like they are on their way out.

Mom I posted to my blog!

This is Christmas. I think it took the boys a little while to wake up. They don't look too excited in the pictures but every time Asher opened a present he would say "ooooh, my sweet (whatever the present was)

Some of the pictures are mixed up but Asher cracks me up. Just hanging out in the bumbo seat reading a book.

Then on to his winter outfit. :)
Noah got a new bike for Christmas.

 They both got helmets.

 and Optimus Prime.
and Ninja Turtles.  It's funny how all the old things are coming back. Ok, I don't know if ninja turtles are on their way back in but my boys like 'em.

 and there's chubalina.
so cute and mine. I know...

Found some nail polish at the natural grocer. I had to do it.  I really do like having a girl.
I do love my boys just the same.

 Some bread Heath made.
yum!
Hannah eating carrots.

Ok, sorry I haven't done much blogging lately. It just seems like I've been so busy. Lately it seems like we can't get over being sick. BOOOOO! Noah is loving preschool, Asher is a funny dude but still pretty shy. He's figuring out, little by little, that he's not the baby anymore. The fits have gotten sooooo much better. I know...6 months later. Heath is a little less busy this semester teaching and we are spending more time together as a family. I LOVE IT!
For the record heirloom seeds are where it's at; palm oil, coconut oil, and olive oil make a good soap, most stomachs are not the same after babies, wearing shoes prevents toe stubs, I like pinterest,  Heath hunts coyotes and has a necklace that holds all his calls, I got a sweet bike for Christmas. Heath saved it from going to the junk yard when we were in PA. I had no idea about it. He got new tires and cleaned it up. I think it was made in the 60's. AWESome!
