"Come what may, and love it!......Yet in spite of discouragement and adversity, those who are happiest seem to have a way of learning from difficult times, becoming stronger, wiser, and happier as a result." ~ Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

Heath's new toy and some mud pies.

Heath got a new toy. Yes, a weed eater. We needed one bad. Our friend Deric called and told us about a sweet deal at home depot. A $140 weed eater for $40. Plus, we have a gift card to home depot from one of the jobs Heath did this summer. Noah likes to "pix" (fix) things with his daddy.
You should have seen Heath walk around with that thing. It was like he was THE MAN. ;)

Noah pixing the weed eater.

Then there was some throwing of the dirt, digging of the dirt, and making of the mud pie.

Asher wasn't happy with his mud pie. I had the boys strip down (well Noah) before he went inside. They went directly to the bathroom (did not pass go, did not collect $100) right to the bathtub. I had to spray Noah off before I got bath water going. I had to wash Asher's splint, wash the straps and put them in the dryer. I had to hold him until they were dry to hold his arm up. I should have asked for another set of them.
Anyway, both boys are clean.

It's true that you should check out www.greensmoothiegirl.com

Love it when little boys are "helping" their dads! So adorable! Poor Ash's crying face. It looks like a good day in the dirt was had! Yay for Heath and his new toy! Boys need toys.....no matter how old they are. :0)

What is with a man and his yard. Jeff just loves his leaf blower of all things. He feels so powerful blowing things around. Swinging deal though.

And I love dirt. Especially when its not red (simply for the washing out factor).

Love these pics!!
I m dying that you bought the green smoothie girls packet!! I want it sooo bad!! Do you love it!? IS it hard to follow!? Have you noticed a huge change in how you feel? I am just wondering, because I am thinking about getting it. For the past few months I have felt terrible. I think my hormones are really out of whack (I am losing fistfuls of hair....more than the normal post prego, I am looking really pale and colorless, my hair is greasier than normal, mood swings, depression, etc, etc.) ANd I have been thinking I really need to get more aggressive with my health. Just wondering if you have noticed a "cleansing affect" and how you are feeling?

Also, I noticed foodstoragemadeeasy as a link on here. I am good friends with her. She is the Julie who helped me with my bread yesterday and the one on my "Ace of Cakes" post. (helped me decorate Lexi's birthday cake) I figured you followed her. You guys would be great friends!!

Kristin,
I just typed a really long response to you and it didn't save stink.
I do love the green smoothie girl. It's not hard to follow at all. I was feeling like you. well, the depression and mood swings. I've only really been doing this for 2 weeks and feel a ton better. She says it helps with hair and nails too. I think it's worth every penny. My sister gave me a vitamix which I think it's worth it's weight in gold. She really explains and gives you the "why" of things which i really really like. I think what she says really goes a long with the word of wisdom. I think it's the best investment I've made in my health.
I love foodstoragemadeeasy
