It was Saturday and I was the luckiest girl in the world.
It was Saturday which means there's a good chance Heath is home. I was doing the dishes and Heath and the kids went outside. I was watching them as they were playing football. Dad and Hannah vs. Noah and Asher. Heath knelt down to talk about a play with Hannah. The ball was in play and Heath acted like he had the ball but it was really up Hannah's dress (yes, that girl can do anything in a dress). The boys caught on pretty quickly and after they touched her hips there was a good amount of laughter. More plays, more laughter! I was watching what I thought would be great footage for a commercial about family and spending time together. I thought I must be the luckiest girl in the whole wide world and couldn't help but smile. That dad that adored those kids and those kids that adored him right back.
A little later they came into the kitchen. It was time for a picnic on the front lawn. Everyone gathered what they thought might be good for a picnic. A few hot dogs, granola bars, popcorn, and crackers. I was invited too.
Later, I watched a movie called Mom's Night Out. It seemed like the best movie EVER! I could relate to the mom from the very beginning. I laughed out loud and I cried real quiet. Who knew that a tatooed biker dude named Bones could be so profound. It helped me feel a little normal with all the crazy emotions I've been feeling lately. Right before the movie was over Asher came in crying from scratching his back on the bricks outside and Hannah was screaming cause she peed on the bathroom floor. Although I didn't see the end of the movie, I didn't really feel like I needed to. I was living it and for some reason it made me feel like I could handle it all right then.
That was the good part of the day.

The ward carnival.
I wasn't able to go. I stayed home with Lydia but Heath took the boys and Hannah. Memaw made some chili for the chili cook off.
The kids seemed to love it. They got their faces painted, played games, got candy and ate cupcakes they won from a cakewalk type game. Hannah was ready to go back today.
Did I mention I really hate jaundice and more particularly the lights. It's so rough. She just wants to be cuddled but nooooooo. Her bilirubin was lower today but they still want her in the lights. It will probably be another rough night of little sleep. Ugh! Please let us be done after tomorrow's test!

The lights!
All my kids have been jaundice but i think Hannah is the only one that didn't have to go under the lights.

Lydia Claire is here!
This girl was born yesterday at 12:07 pm. She was 8 lbs 7 oz and 20 inches long. She's just as cute as she could be and the kids just love her (the proof is in the pictures).
The delivery was as smooth as could be (my 3rd c-section) and I know that we were all being watched over. I have the best doctors and the anesthesiologist was just as nice as he could be. Feeling so blessed and in love with this girl.

It's great to be 8!
Noah turned 8 on Saturday and had a fun birthday party. The kids went up to Dad's school art room and got to make things out of clay. They played games and then in the end they made a sculpture that they wanted to have fired.
I can't believe I have an 8 year old and I can believe baby #4 will be here Monday.
Noah is excited to be baptized and we are excited he has chosen to be baptized. The past few months we have been able to talk about it as a family which has been fun.
My mama and aunt Janna will be here on Saturday. I can hardly wait.
