"Come what may, and love it!......Yet in spite of discouragement and adversity, those who are happiest seem to have a way of learning from difficult times, becoming stronger, wiser, and happier as a result." ~ Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

Oh garden blessings

Yesterday we worked in the garden. I was excited to harvest. We pulled a few things but I couldn't wait to taste the heirloom purple carrots. To my surprise they were terrible. :-(
Hannah loves to harvest. She picked an unripe tomato and an unripe watermelon. She better be glad she is so cute. She also fed the chickens from a bucket. I watched her from afar and I'm pretty sure that's what the good life looks like.
I think Heath gets the most excited about harvest time. You should see his face!
Asher has a watermelon patch. He likes to work in the garden, unlike Noah who doesn't enjoy the heat or working in the garden but would rather play video games . Teaching that boy to work just might be one of our biggest challenge.s. In his defense it was about 115 yesterday.

Asher threw up twice last night and Noah had diarrhea this morning. We didn't go to church. They wanted to paint eggs so we did. I think it was inspired by The Rise of the Gardians movie. (The Easter bunny part)
