Some things I've been thinking about and two of my favorite things. I know, I know! It's long.
Well, I've decided to actually type something today. The pictures are for my mom who checks my blog religiously everyday :). Today I woke up early so that I could go running before Heath left for school. I really like to run and feel it is almost better for my emotional health then it is for my physical health...almost! While I was running I was thinking about and noticing all the signs of spring. Bug splats on the windshield, the increase in the number of road kill, the pretty flowers, leaves on trees, warmer weather, people outside, the baby animals, and did I say warmer weather? It was a long winter here so spring is definitely welcome. Asher is 3 months old now and things are getting a little easier. He is such a good baby...sleeps through the night, is pretty content with sitting in his bouncer while I cook dinner and take baths. Noah has started speech therapy and seems to be trying to talk a little more (although not very clear but we'll take anything at this point). He, however, does not sleep through the night like his brother. Maybe someday. Also, he's starting to do the funniest things. They are both so stinkin' cute! We are moving into a house at the end of next month which I am very excited about. I think we will start to seriously potty train Noah. All suggestions are welcomed. We are going to Utah in a few weeks. Heath is going to help build a kiln at SUU and I'm going along for the ride. I'm excited to see my family and friends there. I found out that chewing your food thoroughly helps it to digest better. I'm one of those people that is always asking "why?". So, I have to know why before I'll do something. This is not a characteristic that brings my husband joy. Speaking of him. He is at the end of his second semester of grad school. He's been so stressed out lately. Bless his little heart. Only two more days my little sugar pie (a term of endearment my mother would use). My mother that I love so much and the women I am more and more like everyday and I don't mind a bit. So, this swine flu thing. Doesn't scare me. The scriptures say if you are prepared, ye shall not fear. I'm pretty prepared. I learned most this stuff from my father. If we had to be quarantined to our home, we would have enough food, toothpaste, soap, and most importantly toilet paper. I could probably use a few more diapers. I'm as prepared as I can be and faith will have to do the rest. Speaking of faith. My baby Asher has really helped me develop a lot of it lately. I have really learned to rely on my Heavenly Father and his timing. We are so blessed and feel the happiness that comes from committing to keep the commandments and live the gospel. I love being a mom with all it's surprised and sacrifices. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Well, congrats if you made it through this post. There should be a prize or something. P.S. After I posted this I noticed some misspelled words and such (tried to fix them). Please don't take off points for spelling, punctuation, or grammatical errors.
